Selling Your Jewelry-We Keep It Simple

I get many phone calls from people wanting to sell their jewelry and their first question is 'What is the procedure to sell my jewelry'?

First of all I encourage you to make an appointment, so that I can dedicate my time to you. I first review your jewelry to determine if I have interest in buying your jewelry. If I have interest in your jewelry, I will assay the stones and metal to determine a price that I will offer. If you accept the offer, I write you a check. It is that simple.

Assaying your jewelry is defined by testing your metals to determine the karat of the gold, 10k, 14k, 18k or 22k. I test your diamonds to determine if it is authentic and then check the cut, color, clarity and size (carat weight). To determine a truly accurate value for your stone and finalize an offer, the stone has to be loose or removed from the mounting. These facts allow me to make you a fair and proper offer. Many times we do buy pieces of jewelry such as pearls, jade, color stones and antique jewelry that have a good resale potential.
